The Nebraska Water Environment Association (NWEA) is a non-profit organization comprised of professionals dedicated to protecting Nebraska's water quality. The Nebraska Wastewater Operators Division (NWOD) is an internal membership division within the NWEA. NWEA is a member association of the (WEF®) Water Environment Federation. WEF® is an international organization of educational and technical water quality experts. These organizations provide an excellent forum for communication, and provide educational information concerning the nature, collection, and treatment of domestic and industrial wastes. |

13th Annual NWEA Scholarship Golf Outing Check out the Effluent Line for photos The outing this year was a carbon copy of past years. Generous Big Hitters, donations from our member companies, and excellent planning by Kathleen Alexander and Roger Winkler. 115 golfers enjoyed a buffet dinner, collected raffle prizes, competed for pin prizes, and encountered another beautiful day of golf at Iron Horse. This year's event raised over $2,500 for the NWEA Scholarship Fund. Thanks to all who participated! |
