The Nebraska Water Environment Association (NWEA) is a non-profit organization comprised of professionals dedicated to protecting Nebraska's water quality. The Nebraska Wastewater Operators Division (NWOD) is an internal membership division within the NWEA. NWEA is a member association of the (WEF®) Water Environment Federation. WEF® is an international organization of educational and technical water quality experts. These organizations provide an excellent forum for communication, and provide educational information concerning the nature, collection, and treatment of domestic and industrial wastes. |

12th Annual NWEA Scholarship Golf Outing The outing this year was again a tremendous success thanks to the generosity of the Big Hitters, donations from our member companies, and the planning of Kathleen Alexander and Roger Winkler. Over thirty teams with 120+ golfers delighted in a buffet dinner, collected raffle prizes, competed for pin prizes, and enjoyed a beautiful day of golf at Iron Horse. This year's event raised over $3,000 for the NWEA Scholarship Fund. |
