As the Nebraska Water Environment Association,
we strive to achieve our goals, including:

• Attract and retain an active and diverse membership.
• Provide opportunities for professional growth and development.
• Heighten public awareness of the NWEA, environmental professionalism,
  and environmental issues.
• Lead development of water quality policy, legislative initiatives, and
  regulations development.
• Develop the "Nebraska Water Quality Partnership".
• Strengthen the NWEA's relationship with the Water Environment Federation
  and other WEF member associations. 
• Attract and retain a diverse, motivated, and effective leadership.
• Provide efficient administration and enhance resources.
