POSITION AVAILABLE

PUBLIC WORKS OPERATOR II – Wastewater Division, City of Norfolk.  Must have a valid driver's license, and be able to obtain a Class “B” CDL license, and a Grade 2 Wastewater Certification.  Training and experience in electro-mechanical maintenance is required.  Skills in electrical, mechanical, plumbing and  PLC control systems are desired.  Must have computer knowledge.  Will be trained to operate and maintain wastewater equipment.  The scheduled work rotation includes weekend work approximately once per month and on-call time.   Monthly salary range is $2,673 – $3,714.  Applications being accepted at Personnel Office at 127 North 1st Street, Norfolk, through 4:30 p.m. Friday, November 21.  The City of Norfolk does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, reli­gion, age, or disability in employment or the provision of services.

ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN I (STORMWATER)
